Foxfire Thunderbird problems

Sep 16, 2005 12:35PM PDT

Sometimes a message disappears. I look in every folder (I have many) the trash and do a search (WXP)

Sometimes it neglects to filter a message. Sometime it goes to the proper file.

I thought of going back to Netscape 8 but there's no communicater.

Any suggestion. I used Outlook on another computer. The virus or worm took out my Norton so I won't use that.

Nancy

Thunderbird Problems

Thunderbird is actually one of the better programs out there.

You might have had a virus that "Ate" your messages.

I tend to stay away from outlook or any programs that store my messages on my PC in case of a virus, HD crash or any other problem.

I am using GMail and sticking to it!

How do you know

How do you know that Mozilla Thunderbird ate your message?

You neglected to say what kind of ISP you are using.

Example AOL.com, gmail.com etc.

It might soung like it's not setup correctly.

Please tells us you ISP and we'll search for the instructions for a proper setup for you.
