Forwarding picture(s) in e-mail

Aug 11, 2004 12:50AM PDT

I am unable to forward a picture through any of my e-mail accounts ( Hotmail, Netscape, Yahoo or my ISP). The recipient receives only a placeholder (red x in a small box). I have searched CNET Forums but have not found a fix for this problem. I am running Windows XP Pro with IE6SP1 and using PeoplePC as my ISP. I am using the default settings on internet security and "show pictures" is checked. Any suggestions?

I always copy and paste text and/or picture(s) into a "new" message. I never use the "Forward" button but my pictures arrive as a Red X. To send a picture, I must save it to a file and then attach the file to the e-mail. I never had to do this before buying XP Pro.
