Lee,

A question and two remarks on the forums homepage.

Question:
I like the 'most recent posts'. But I wonder what the refresh frequency or lag time is.

Remark #1.
The 'most recent posts' section would be even more useful if it mentioned the forum the post was in. It would surely help to let me decide if it is interesting for me.

Remark #2.
The 'hot discussion' list at the moment is dominated by Marianna's Virus Alerts (about 30 a day, all grouped together after a suggestion to do so by Basil). This can hard be called a 'hot discussion'. Better filter them out, and only reference the real discussions.

My 'question' was about the normal standard situation.

At the moment, it's the same since Friday, which I consider abnormal, especially for the 'most recent posts' section. But I assume that will be fixed sometimes, someday (together with the search, maybe?).

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
