Redesign feedback.

The redesign team would be interesting to meet.

With every redesign I can't say I like it any better. The big tabs are a glaring sore thumb. At least they use the width of the display now...

you have two choices--I'll explain how the whole process

works. First the differences:

The CNET Reviews branded forums
http://reviews.cnet.com/4002-7600-5146004.html

or

The CNET Help.com branded forums
http://reviews.cnet.com/4002-7600_7-5082864.html

Now if you want to change skins/brand, here's how: On the forum level given the URL you provided

http://reviews.cnet.com/5204-6142-0.html?forumID=5&start=0&tag=cnr

if you remove the &tag=cnr you will get the help.com version. If you add the &tag= you'll get the Reviews treatment. Simple enough?

Any links to a specific thread for example this one:

http://reviews.cnet.com/5208-7598-0.html?forumID=51&threadID=38105&messageID=446884

It will default to the Reviews brand. Unless of course if you are already in a Help.com forum broswer session.

Make sense?

You can use which ever brand you want, because it's all shared content.

Let me know if this all makes sense.

Yep!

I had hoped that the "black" background template was still around instead of these two -- "orange" or "gray", have eye problems and both of these cause eye strain.

Another user-friendly improvement NOT.

The color is a mixed bag based on these

TalkBacks here: http://reviews.cnet.com/4520-3000_7-5512723-1.html, but I personally like it since I've breathed and lived the whole green and yellow era in the past and it's refreshing to see it come back.

Did you know that our old building interiors--halls, offices, and all, use to be painted the green and yellow? Boy Bill if you worked there you probably would've went blind--j/k Happy.

The color for some will take some time to get use to, but there is always the help.com forum version for you to use.
