Forum still under the weather?

Why is it that the forum threads and posts are still undependable: sometimes it takes ages to get to one, and sometimes 5 posts are listed in the inventory but only 4 actually appear. Will it still take long ?

Hello - I do hope that your comp is still alive. And I did read most of the posts in the feedback forum. Before that I had thought that instead of a feedback they should have a fed up forum (LOL). But seeing that many of the contributors are still alive and their sense of humour still intact, acts like a tranquiliser. (Trying British spelling as learnt in school - Eastbourne - as against the American one that I normally use at work). Most times I still get the "cannot be found" reply, and the number of posts in the index is not equal to number of posts that actually appear. Hoping with you for better times - Amos.

Seems that way

One one think an outfit like Cnet would be sure to do rigorous testing before rolling out changes, and in the event of problems with the updates, roll it back until more testing can be done to work out the kinks. If there is no way of rolling back changes, that opens a whole different can of worms regarding poor management.

Personally, it makes it a little difficult for me to take any CNet recommendations, reviews, etc seriously, when this is how their own setup is handled. While I'm sure there are people working quite hard on these problems, that really isn't the issue.
