Forum Feedback and Computer Problems. Please read this first

Mar 30, 2007 8:37PM PDT

Hi everyone,

Quite often this forum is used to ask specific questions about computer or computer-related problems.

Although questions may be answered in this forum, you may not get the fullest responses available because members only visit here to report on forum problems, or to give feed back on forum issues. You may miss out on good advice by asking computer related questions here.

Why not try one of CNET's other forums. Have a look at the Full Forum Listing.

If you are unsure which forum best suits your problem, try one that refers to your Operating System; eg;

Windows XP,
Windows Vista,
Mac OS,
Linux.

If they can't help you specifically, they can perhaps point you in the right direction.

If you are not sure what Operating System your computer uses, then you could try;
Computer Help, or
Computer Newbies.

If you feel you may have a virus or spyware infection, or other security concerns, then visit CNET's anti-malware forum;
Virus & Security Alerts.

There are many other forums available. CNET has named each forum such that the name indicates where best to ask your question.

If you are really struggling to find a suitable forum, then please feel free to ask in this forum and we will help you the best we can.

Good luck.

Mark
