The Forum boards are a great source of info regarding help for fixing bugs, advice on parameters, performance specs, niche-user issues, etc...
Can CNET start a Forum for consumers ABOUT to buy digital products so as to help them decide a level of quality to go by rather than just cheapest price for the specs in the store flyer? The Forum boards are great to search for specific help with user issues, but buyer issues tend to clog up searches for specific user help.
CNET could do its users and advertisers a great service by starting a Forum solely to deal with the Buyer's needs in selecting any product: dependability, design flaws, comapany practices with warranty issues, etc... The Forum could also be a place for manufacturers to respond in a widely viewed public forum to charges made by disgruntled consumers.
I recommend CNET to any contact I know of that needs safe downloads, dependable product specs and sound forum advice - all delivered in a way the average consumer can understand. I hope that you will consider adding this crucial Forum to your offerrings.
