Forms to large on a 17 in screen!

Apr 18, 2005 2:40AM PDT

I have created a database on a 15 inch screen. When I transfered the database to a new computer with a 17 inch screen the form appear way to large and no longer fit.Can anyone tell me if there's a way to auto size all the form so they fit onto any size screen without manual ajustment.

Crispyduck,

It's the pixels that count, I think. Compare the resolution of your 15'' monitor with that of your 17'' monitor (properties of the desktop).

If the 15'' is set to 800x600 and the 17'' to 1024x768 it should fit, if you transfer it the way you do. Not the other way around, of course. Design for smallest screen (in pixels) that will use the screen.

Anyway, that's what I think. Please tell more if this is incorrect.

Thank you, where right it is the resolution that is the problem. I'm going to set both screen to the same resolution and have a look at what happens.
