Former CIA claims Obama a crypto-Islamic

And that his administration has Islamic supporters guiding his moves, to favor the Islamic radical movement, in spite of the cruelty and beheadings.

"Today, a former CIA agent bluntly told the
newspaper, World Net Daily, that America has switched sides in the war
on terror under President Obama. Clare Lopez was willing to say what a

Internet. Opinions like this one are like @$$holes. If you canvass enough people, you'll find something really gross, ugly and disgusting. This is a perfect example.

Extreme Right Wingers can be found anywhere. They are a small minority, and they hold grossly unfounded and inaccurate opinions on any number of things, including Obama's birthplace, and his crypto-Islamic status. A lie remains a lie.

Were you to ask the CIA as an institution, or any large organization not involved with the Tea Party or local Militias, you wouldn't find this sort of opinion or stupidity. This is right up there with the Post 1945 Red Scare where large numbers of journalists were branded as "Radicals" or "Communists" without a shred of proof. Two FBI agents produced a pamphlet called Red Channels. It made them a fortune, before they were sued for libel, and lost all the cases. End of fortune. They were forced to sever their association with the FBI as well, by that wonderful old Red Baiter J. Edgar Hoover. Even Miss Hoover recognized that the accusation was unsustainable. (And just so you know, I don't think Hoover was a cross dresser. I was using it as an example that anyone can say anything whether it is true or not. Just because someone says it, even if they work for a Church (Jim Jones, Father Coughlin, Pat Robertson, Oral Robertson) or the CIA or the ACLU doesn't make it true. Anyone can be wrong, or delusional, or schizo-psychotic or merely socio-pathic.)

What makes belonging to the communist party
by Diana Forum moderator / September 6, 2014 12:09 AM PDT

make you a traitor anymore than belonging to the republican or libertarian or socialist party?

He ruined a lot of lives. It was totally illegal to require an answer to your political affiliation or requiring an oath of allegiance. He made this a country that was no longer free to believe what you wanted to.

He was just as bad as Hitler condemning the Jews for all of Germany's problems. He was condemning communists for all this country's ills.

He was an arrogant prick who just wanted to get re-elected and chose an enemy to hate.

The house of un-American activities was totally unconstitutional. How could anything be un-American if it didn't hurt anybody?

Also he didn't weed out communists. He would come in and say he had the names of hundreds of communists in the government but didn't produce one.

He ruined Mae West's career because she wasn't ladylike enough. He ruined a lot of careers because the people wouldn't cave to his tactics.

He was finally censured by the Senate and died of alcohol and hepatitis.

anyone else of communistic background you'd like to compare him to. You know that. I know that. No sense in lying about it. Oh, wow, he died of hepatitis. I sure hope you are in full swing to condemn every person in Hollywood dying of AIDS too! You may also have forgotten about the Rosenberg spies who were executed for the treason their communist beliefs lead them to engage in. They had a lot of Hollywood supporters too.

McCarthy, American Saint and Hero, against Communism
by James Denison / September 7, 2014 3:44 PM PDT

What did McCarthy and others who pursued Communists in this country save us from? Well, lets look at what happened in Communist countries.

1917-21: Soviet revolution (5 million)
1928-37: Chinese civil war (2 million)
1932-33: Soviet Union vs Ukraine (10 million)
1934: Mao's Long March (170,000)
1936-37: Stalin's purges (13 million)
1946-49: Chinese civil war (1.2 million)
1949-50: Mainland China vs Tibet (1,200,000)
1950-53: Korean war (3 million)
1958-61: Mao's "Great Leap Forward" (38 million)
1966-69: Mao's "Cultural Revolution" (11 million)
1975-79: Khmer Rouge, Cambodia (1.7 million)
1975-89: Boat people, Vietnam (250,000)

That doesn't even cover all the other small countries that have suffered from Communist regimes. It doesn't cover those who have lived in misery and seen all their rights trampled on under such regimes.

Yes, McCarthy should be respected for standing up against any and all who were sympathetic to such murderous regimes and wanted the same Communist system to rule over America.

Thank you, Joe McCarthy, you WERE a true American Hero!

should have remained in force in addition to just existing. At least it's available for forcible use when needed in the future.

the Supreme Court of the United States has not ruled on the act's constitutionality. Despite that, no administration has tried to enforce it. The provisions of the act "outlawing" the party have not been repealed. Nevertheless, the Communist Party of the USA continues to exist in the 21st century.

And then maybe you will understand why he too should have a memorial for patriotism along The Mall in Washington DC. The communist sympathizers just made him the focus, but there was already a movement to deal with those treasonous rats.

People were brought up before Congress for what they thought, and who they knew, and then were forced to divulge names of people who exercised their right to say what they felt at a particular time. Guilt by association, that old American favourite.

"Tail Gunner" Joe McCarthy the man who never flew a mission but pretended he did when he campaigned. A Pig, in Pig's Clothing. Your judgement is gravely faulty, James.

He did more harm to the US than Joe Stalin or the Nuclear Spies. More harm than anyone until the advent of James Jesus Angleton who virtually destroyed the CIA through his Communist hunt 10 years later. You wonder why the CIA can't do anything? Look no farther.

Who did McCarthy catch? Nobody. Not one person. And if he was so right why did the Senate censure him, and why did he die an alcoholic 5 years later. He was a demagogue who was caught telling lies. You need better heroes.

Or does it merely proceed from your knowledge that you are younger than I am?
In the meahwhile, so will you.

I feel no problem with saying "Ya wanna bet?" If I die, I get to chat with Churchill; if I live, I get the benefit of continuing to live and learn, the second part of which you appear to have abandoned a very, very long time ago.. My side of the equation is what is known as a Win Win situation, though if asked for a preference I'd have to say, I'd prefer to live and learn, because learning is what I have always enjoyed most.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
