I use Office 2007 on Windows XP Pro SP3.
I'm having an issue with the Format Painter keyboard shortcut keys in Word 2007 (CTRL-SHIFT-C). Previously, this would copy the formatting of the selection, all ready to paste (the formatting) into the destination selection.
Suddenly, things seem to have changed recently (and I don't know how or why this happened; that is, what triggered it, since I haven't made any changes to my Office 2007 installation). Now, when I do a CTRL-SHIFT-C, instead of silently copying the formatting, a "Copy Format" menu opens up with options for copying various types of formatting (Font, Paragraph, Font+Paragraph, Borders and Shading, and various other options).
How do I get rid of this -- all I want is the previous functionality, where CTRL-SHIFT-C would just copy the formatting silently, ready for pasting.
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
