I'm no expert on this sort of thing but memory tells me that the Enter key passes a carraige return to the document and so creates the next line. This is the same whether on an open document, in a table, form, or whatever.
What about the Tab key?
Mark
I Created a form within Word 2002 (XP) and protected the file
When I use the ALT key it brings me to the next field
But when I use the Enter key it creates a new line
I want when I use the ENTER key that it behaves like ALT key
I have NEVER used macros but think that would solve the problem.
anyone know a simple macro to use and how to add it to this form
