Form design

by Daibad / September 17, 2006 1:45 AM PDT

Once again, as I have tried to comlete an on-ine form I have to undergo great/tremendous hassel because of rather ignorant form dsigners.
Asked to subnmit a survey form for an upgrade to Professional by Avant Electronics, for my new DVD player, I submitted all my details BUT have been declined four times with requests to "submit proper area code" and "submit proper telephone numer" - I live in the Dordogne in France, on the outskirts of a town. We do NOT have street names OR numbers and believe it or not our 'phone numbers are quite different from American numbers. Is it not about time that American form designers realised that the outside world MAY be different from their own???
