Question

Forced Language on "OnScreen Control" program

Aug 31, 2017 10:14AM PDT

Hello.

I am currently having a problem with a new screens software. The software called "OnScreen Controll" seems to be a rather basic program that decides to look through my PC for what language it should use, and for some reason ends up with Japanese. Even though under Controll panel - Language/region i have it set to Norwegian/English. Should also mention that the program itself has no language option, be it in during installation or in the program afterwards.

It might be because of a Light Novel that had me change my language to Japanese at some point a few years back, but unsure if it had me change it someplace else.

Is there some sort of language reset i can do? Or perhaps another file where it might be set as Japanese?

Thanks beforehand for any help Wink

OS would be Windows 10

The monitor is the LG 34" LED Curved FreeSynC 34UC79G-B which has a program that helps with settings. Which is the porgram called "OnScreen Control"

Seeing how the problem seems related to some sort of PC Language setting i doubt it can be seen as LG`s problem.

IMO it is LG's problem.
