After just installing Safari v3.2 on this Vista PC, I see that all my imported (from my IE) Safari bookmarks are in a ".plist" (a Property list, with an XML structure) located in:
"C:\Users\Chuck\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\Safari\"
Changing that to your name, and depending upon your Windows version, and even what version of Safari you may have, your results may vary.
I need to recover the bookmark file of Safari from a Windows Vista machine and I don't know where this file is located. I know that Safari itself can EXPORT the bookmarks but my HD is really bad so now i'm at the point where I'm trying to salvage my data before I nuke the HD and these bookmarks took a long time to build up. thanks
