General discussion

For Rick (PudgyOne)...

Oct 23, 2006 9:19AM PDT

I looked at your screenshots and saw you scratched out your e-mail address and the URL in most places, but noticed that you missed one spot...it also appeared on the IE7 tab. Thus, I decided to delete your post before others saw it. I hope that's OK.

In response, though, check AdBlock/AdBlock Plus as well as the Exceptions option for blocking images and make sure that the host has not bee blacklisted. Pepsi and others frequently use doubleclick.com and other ad servers to host their images in solicited mail, so right-click the images and copy the location to find out the source, then whitelist them if you want.

Hope this helps,
John

The Pepsi adddoes indeed use doubleclick. I disabled the adblock feature and the images appear.

So it's the adblock feature blocking Pepsi's images.

Thanks for removing the email address for me. I tried and must have missed it. I see where I missed it at. Still not used to tabbed browsing in Internet Explorer 7.

Thanks again, I will go to image shack and remove the images from my acount.

? Thank God for friends here.
Thanks, John. I make the same mistake occasionally.
Don't you just hate it when that happens!?
