Sorry mate but I have deleted your post. It included a direct link to an executable program, and as that cannot be tested for malware, it is dangerous to link to it.

Star Downloader

Hi,

Suddenly "Star Downloader" stopped to work.
I could not delete it ("install.log missing ")
And as it was the only one and automatic mean used for loading programs ,now I can never more download any program.
Once it appeared
http:// www.kl-soft.com/download/nitro_setup. (exe)
That I never ask for .
Virus ?
How can I delete such a program.

Jrbus I don't entirely understand your post.

You say you cannot download anymore. Why not? Have you tried without Star Downloader?

What is Star Downloader and what does it do?

What do you mean by ''Virus?''

What steps do you take to protect your computer against hackers, viruses, spyware and adware?

If your anti-malware programs do not show up any viruses or spyware connected to Star Downloader when you scan with them , then goto the program folder where Star Downloader was installed and simply delete the folder and all its contents.
