General discussion

For JenDScot Let sleeping posts lie.

Feb 10, 2004 12:12AM PST

Except in the case you have a bang-on solution.

The forum barely works as it is with posts bubbling to the top by last response. Posting an answer to over month old discussions may be a good thing if you have the absolute answer, but take care and don't re-answer each one since...

People won't be able to find their current discussion easily because there is no Search in the forums.

Thanks for pitching in.

Thank you for the information Bob. I believe all technicians in the field are skilled professionals, and many times we do not have all the answers, but everyone has a different approach to resolve it's issues. Have a good day, and it is a pleasure speaking with you.

Do you understand the forum issue?

There is no search feature and the way the forum presents its contents is sorted by teh last time a post was made.

The user with a current issue may lose they post on page 2 and most can't find that.

Think about this and consider that we want the people to be able to find their posts easily.
