Resolved Question

For each CD drive the "Enable Recording" box keeps resetting

Aug 20, 2011 7:59AM PDT

This only started recently. Whenever I have to make a CD with pics, documents or anything else, I always have to go into the Properties of the drive and check "Enable recording on this drive". I check it, press apply and it works. However the next time I use my computer, it unchecks itself.

Do any of you know how to keep that box checked?

I'm running Windows XP SP3 on a Compaq Presario 6350us.

It only records on one drive... now I get it. Sometimes I switch-off on whichever drive I'm using to record something....
