It's no secret: CIA scouting for recruits
By John Diamond, USA TODAY
LANGLEY, Va. ? To fill the shortage of experts in key languages and meet a presidential order for a 50% increase in analysts and overseas operatives, Goss started an end-to-end overhaul of the recruiting system.

Today, security issues that once took 18 months to overcome are being handled in a matter of weeks, according to Betsy Davis, the agency's No. 2 recruiting official.

Last year, the commission created to investigate the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks criticized the agency's lack of language experts and the delays in obtaining

Good grief

all those 'complainers' would have to go to school for a couple of years to learn the languages, doncha think? How many 'complainers' do you think are already qualified?

(NT) (NT) You're welcome, Mark.

I'll take your word for it, Dan

Though I wonder if even Mark would agree with that assessment. It certainly seems to me that he just doesn't want to take the time or effort to post in a more intelligent manner. I must admit that his practice of regularly making snide, unmeaningful remarks and attacks does prejudice me.

However, I'll complain no further about his refusal to use good spelling and grammar.

Excuse me?

His 'refusal'?????????

Ever consider the possibility that your superior attitude is showing and that you are assuming more than you actually know?

for someone who boasted the other day about his

"several years" on these forums, i'm surprised that you still leave common decency at the dor when you walk in here....

Solution is obvious...

Don't read 'em.

Saves you from aggravation and saves the rest of us from seeing yuor replies.

Simple.

Amen!

in the first place all anyone has to do is read enough of Marks posts and his style becomes clear and very understandable! That is if someone wants to take the time. All of us make mistakes and leave out words sometimes as an example, this from Dan:

Mark, call me Dan, please.
I have asked on several occasions when others have been so rude and inconsiderate as to call me by other names. I suspect you have seen these requests and I ask that honor them.

Thank you,

Dan
