Question

Foolishly set motherboard to boot to N/A, How to fix??

Apr 17, 2015 12:21PM PDT

So as stated above, I accidentally set my motherboard to boot to an empty option or "N/A" as stated on my bios. I have an Asus motherboard and now when I boot up, my tower boots with power to keyboard and mouse, but monitor is unresponsive and reads "no signal". So I have no way of getting to my BIOS to fix the issue. I tried a full power down, every way I know how and my friend helped me to remove the battery from the mobo which was supposed to reset it to default but no luck with that either. Also have tried to operate blind, by clicking delete(bios access key) and doing it that way but no luck either.
Please help if anyone knows how I can go about fixing this issue, I've been without my Desktop for weeks and its killing me especially with the end of the semester nearing.

BIOS access

The BIOS access key need not be "Del"

It could be Esc, F1, F2, F8, F11, F12, maybe others.

Keep tapping "Esc" and F1 to F12 keys. Something may show up.

ASUS "fast boot"?

It doesn't work by clicking. You need to hold down the key (usually Del) when turning power on.
