Fonts on my PC

Good evening.

We have just had our computer system up graded at work but the fonts when processing an order are really small.

Our IT guy did change the resolution, but when he made fonts bigger it made them a bit blurry.

He did say it's either have them smaller and clearer or bigger and blurry (none of which are suitable for my eyes)

I know now how to change the font sizes by going into the resolution but it looks like our IT chap is right.

The PC I have is a Windows 7

Any ideas, even if there is a magnifying screen I can fit to my PC would be ok.

Thank you

Clarification Request
Windows 7 does have it's own magnifier tool.
