Font problems with IE

Mar 4, 2005 7:01AM PST

I'm using IE 6.0 SP2. How do I change the font IE chooses for a CSS font-family: san-serif? The one it chooses right now is unreadable. I know I can disable custom fonts, but I would like to keep that functionality. Is there any way to make IE choose a different san-serif font?

Interesting but not relevant

I have read that discussion. Interesting. It, however, does not mention how a user can change what font IE chooses when it encounters a style sheet with font-family:sans-serif.
That is the information I am after.

That was an IE4 feature...

And now has vanished. You can force this with font substition in the Windows OS. My choice not to tell how.
