Folders Sharing Eachother's Settings?

by Mechanicus / January 18, 2007 9:59 PM PST

Hello.

I recently bought and installed a second Hard Drive, and moved my Downloads folder and My Documents folder over to it (I am using it as storage drive).

Now, it seems that My Videos folder and my Downloads folder are sharing the same settings. When I change - for instance - the template style for my Downloads folder, My Videos folder copies it. The main problem is that my Downloads folder is Icon view and My Videos folder needs to be Thumnail view.

What is goin here? How can I stop it doing this? It only happens with these 2 folders, and the 'Remember each folder's view settings' box is ticked.
