I have windows xp-sp2. I can change the folders ok in windows but is there anyway to change the folders in the "registry".working in the registry is not a problem. I just can't seem to find where the change can be in the registry

From the desktop. Right click the desktop and click properties. Click the Desktop tab. Click Customize Desktop. Click Change Icon.

From Explorer. Open Explorer and click Tools, Folder options, File types. Scroll down to the file type you want to change. Highlight it and click Advanced. Click Change icon.

i have changed all the folder icons when i open regedit i get those
yellow folder icons those are the ones i want to change
