just know that flash drives, network drives, floppies do not use the recycle bin but instead bypass it.
I encountered a very strange problem. In my personal folder, there was a folder named "neue bilder", which contained several jpg's. I copied this folder on an USB stick, but because there was not enough space on the stick, only a portion of the pictures was copied. So I decided do delete some files from the stick.
Now, I tried to copy the folder a second time and got the message that there was already a folder with the same name on the stick with the question if I want to replace it. I decided not to replace it and instead copy the pictures which were not on the stick so far. But, what a surprise, the original folder was gone.
Looking in the recycle bin, did not help, the option to show hidden files is set and a file scan for deleted files with a recovery program (recuva) was also not successful.
Any ideas what I can do to get the folder with the jpg's back?
