No, the power is an air power connection. See http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=airplane+power+connection+laptop
As to power at JFK there were many AC outlets there. You see huddles of laptop users near there.
ok, i am flying to the carribean next week with my laptop . . . i have never had my computer along on a flight before. some really dumb questions,
is there any AC power source on jetblue, or am i on one battery charge for whole flight, and
i have a 4 hr layover in JFK airport, is there generally AC for charging a laptop in passenger areas, and how do they view such things?
any other laptop travel tips would be appreciated! -- fj
