Flat Screen Help Please

Feb 25, 2006 7:42AM PST

I understand that I can buy a flat screen "monitor" instead of paying more for a "TV" if I have a cable box. Is this true and what are the issues between monitor vs. TV? Where can I go to learn more? Thanks, QDaddy

MOST FOLKS BUY A HI-DEF T.V. NOT A MONITOR WHY

The t.v. has the built in tuner audio system and tons of inputs its a complete t.v. OK I use my t.v. as a monitor I just run all my vidio devices straight to the t.v. and all the audio to my amp. but fact is if you ever wanted to sell your monitor no one would buy it

ALSO will require speakers/AV system for sound as well
as a dedicated stand or wall mount.
