Flat Panel Monitor HELP

Apr 5, 2005 2:29AM PDT

I have a ImageQuest Q17 monitor and a Dell computer running XP. The monitor is about 1 1/2 years old and has been fine until now. Its one of the flat panel monitors.

Yesterday I shut the monitor display off while the computer was on. Now I can't get it to turn back on and stay on. It flashes (about 1 second) of the screen and goes back to black. I have unplugged all cords and replugged them in and switched the monitor to its own outlet. I am now using my ancient old monitor which no longer even fits on the desk, but it works fine. I have uninstalled the driver and reinstalled. I cannot find a reset button on it anywhere either.

Nothing seems to work and I'm going blind on this old thing. Does anybody have a good suggestion of how to fix this? Thank you.
