Flashlighting and network connection on LED557100

by Ohiopatriot / July 30, 2009 10:27 AM PDT

Can the flashlighting problem(upper and lower right corner) be corrected someway?? I have a tech coming out tomorrow to check it out. My set has a build date of 7-10-09 so exchanging thru BB 30day deal would not get me a newer version. Also, I cannot connect to my wireless home network(netgear wndr3300)using the required samsung usb adapter EXCEPT when I disable ALL security on router which I cannot leave that way. Customer service told me to call netgear and they told me to call samsung????? Any good info/solutions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Ohiopatriot,

The flashlighting (screen uniformity) can be addressed with the technician, and they'll be able to speak more to that than I can.

What kind of encryption have you used in your security settings? Try WEP, and use a SSID that doesn't have any spaces or odd characters.

for the reply. I am now able to connect to my network using the WEP method. I just hope that is enough security, should be huh? The tech came out and did not think it to be a major problem with the "blooming" as he called it. He did not experiance the problem at night in completely dark room either as he came at 1 in the afternoon. I have to decide if I can live with the bright corners or not. Thanks again.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
