Flashing Screen.

by mikeyp102 / July 14, 2010 5:27 AM PDT

Good evening

I have an Acer Aspire 5920 Laptop, running Windows Vista.

This is a bit hard to explain, but my screen has started shaking occassionally. When it does green lines come across the screen. It normally only lasts 5-15 seconds. Anyone come across this type of thing before? Any ideas what it is?

Does it do it just on A/C power? or do you have the same effect on battery mode.

I also have an acer laptop and mine just recently started doing this. I have tried restarting it, but the screen still occasionally flickers black with sort of green or purple stripes. This is the first time it has ever done this, and I scanned my computer for any viruses and found none. Can anyone help me fix this problem?

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
