That's a little bit vague. Can you be somewhat more detailed, so we can see what you do and what happens.

Like:
1. In Firefox I type www.adobe.com in the address bar.
2. On that page I click on Flash (bottom right)
3. On the next page blank the checkbox to install McAfee Security Plus and click on Install
etc.

Sorry, when I download it it goes through step two but never completes. It just never finishes the install. I hope this clears it up a bit. Thanks

Likely causes in such a case:
- corrupted current installation: uninstall it with the flash uninstaller
- corrupted Firefox profile: make a new one
- an incompatible add-on: disable it
- too stringent settings for antivirus/anti-malware/firewall, blocking the installation
- malware blocking the installation

I'd start with making a new Windows account and see if you can install Flash in Firefox there. This will show if one of the first 3 causes is applicable.

Thanks, I'm tired of messing with it. I'll just use Chrome.

FF will not install Flash player while it's open. It will download a stub to pre-determined folder. The default for FF has been "Downloads" under one's username. You will need to exit Firefox, navigate to the downloads folder and click on the Flash install file. Once it's installed, it will launch Firefox and display an animation showing that it's working.

Is it possible your saving downloads to some location.
If so you might want to go to that location and see if the flash installer is sitting there waiting for you to do something with it.

I Use Direct Dowloads Like This

First, uninstall Flash by using the Flash Uninstaller at the link below..
http://helpx.adobe.com/en/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html

After that's done, then download and run the appropriate manual Flash player installer from the link below. If running two browsers, you may need both installers.

Flash Player for IE 32& 64 bit:
http://download.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_17_active_x.exe

Flash Player for Non-IE browser (Opera, Firefox etc):
http://download.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_17_plugin.exe

Hope this helps.
