flash player problems

Hello,
I'm having problems with flash player. I have downloaded the newest player, but flash videos don't work on any of my browers. It is installed but explorer and aol still ask me to download it. it was working only a few days ago and it was using flashplayer 9. Does anyone know what might be the problem? Thanks

Try this

I would use Adobe's Flash uninstaller here;
http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_14157

Then I would reboot the computer, (to make sure any registry entries are removed), then re-visit Adobe and try again.
