flash player for smart tv

by j_norton / August 9, 2015 12:21 PM PDT

When I go to the NASA tv web site I get a message that I need to download the flash player and I get a link to Adobe. When I go to Adobe I get a list of unix formats to select. I have no clue what to select. Any body know how to get the flash player into the smart tv?

This issue has been kicking around for years.

I'll skip all the long answers and write there is no such update. These smart tv browsers and flash are limited and outdated. See if NASA has a Smart TV app for your model.

My fix was to hook up a real PC. Even a PC on a stick.

Browser Limitations

I apologize this is one of the limitations of the web browser. You can see if we offer a NASA application, however if it's not available the only way you will be able to stream from the website would be to connect your computer directly to the television using it as a monitor.
