Flash player (firefox) Mac not working!

Whenever I play any flash type video (youtube, facebook ect.) It jitters every 40 sec. Like it's getting "overheated" or something. What's wrong? I'm using a Macbook Pro. Also, Youtube is sometimes unresponsive, and glitches.

I have no idea what to do. It should work smoothly!

Thanks.

Yeah, just a little less. But the same thing.

Pauses the video, for 1 second, then catches back up. But it's not buffering. Even if it's all buffered, still does it.

I've noticed this on my MacBook as well. It's got a Nvidia GPU, so I don't believe that's the bottleneck, and the CPU isn't being pegged that hard, so that's not the problem either. The only other things I can think of are either RAM usage (it's starting to swap), or some way that the Windows Flash player is better optimized than the OS X version. I haven't found a fix to it yet.

Thanks, I'm really wondering how many people experience this problem. I haven't seen it come up on any of my searches. Plus, it was working like a charm when I got my Macbook in the fall. Now it just seems to be doing this, so random. It's a mac! Sad
