Flash memory mp3 player with decent built-in mic?

Oct 16, 2007 3:50AM PDT

I am looking for flash memory mp3 player with these features:

- small enough to carry easily in a pocket
- decent built-in mic to record live music (guitar, voice, percussion, perhaps more)
- transfer easily to pc. i.e. drag and drop
- not too buggy (and not too much DRM)

I have a minidisc player, which records well with an external mic, but is bulky, and needs sonicstage to take recordings off it. I also have an old 256MB Logik mp3 player, which is so nice and convenient, but has mediocre sound quality.

What mp3 player do you recommend?

Thanks a lot.

You guys are quick! I will have a look at the sansa models then.

A big thing for me is the sound quality. I need it to be sufficiently good to record music. I know it won't be perfect in a pocket model, but not annoyingly bad, as many of them are. Anyone out there tried recording music with a Sansa? Which model is best?

Thanks!
