Flash Light makes Glare on Eye glasses

Jun 24, 2005 1:26AM PDT

I know this has got to happen to more people than me, but every picture I see of myself, there is such a glare on my glasses that It just ruins the picture of me. Is there anyway to prevent this or is there any Photo editing software that can remove this glare? How does it work.

Tilt your glasses so they don't reflect back to the camera.

The only way to remove it is with a photo editor, and you will need to reconstruct the eye or skin which is below the reflection. A lot depends on how good you want it to be.

A tip from the pros

This is a problem for everyone who wears glasses.

Studio photographers keep a selection of frames (with no lenses) for their customers to use.

I'll bet you have some old glasses sitting around.
Pop-out the lenses and you will be ready for your coseup.
