Flash drive not detected

by rapheek / June 30, 2008 12:52 AM PDT

Hi,

I plugged in my flash drive to my computer and the computer did not detect it! I tried 3 other ones, same thing. Any idea?

OS: Windows Vista Home Premium.

Thanks

It looks like a dead machine or usb port.

Thanks Bob for your answer. The computer is new. It must be the USB. I just tried a bluetooth adapter, same thing.

Thanks

Since it's new and there is only your posts to work with, make the call for warranty repair.

They're back and working just fine. I just restarted the computer and they work just fine.

Thanks for your help.

Please consider what is supplied by members to work with. I plead guilty I will not share "reboot the machine." I also will not ask people to reload the OS but try hard to avoid that.

-> You still have a warranty issue. Why did it not work?
Bob
