Flash Drive

I got a new flash drive and i was wondering if anyone has any interesting suggestions on cool stuff to do on it like install a mini version of linux

Treat it as you would any other hard drive. . .

but programs and applications may not work. I'm referring to an "Install" as most programs want to set entries in the registry. There is no registry on a flash drive. And even though a program or utility may install, using it on another PC may fail because of the missing registry entries.

Give it a shot. It'll either work or it won't.

You can install Linux if you have a big enough flash drive. It will work, but not as fast as if you had it installed on a HDD. It will still run pretty fast. I reccomend installing Linux on a 4GB Lexar FireFly.
