Flash Drive

Aug 28, 2006 7:35AM PDT

I just purchased a SanDisk Cruzer Mini USB Flash Drive.
It came with no instructions. I know nothing about how to use these things. I got it to use as a back-up for info on my computer. I plug it in and then what?
How do I access it? None of this info came with the pkg.
I am using Win XP SP2 Home Edition.

Any help would be appreciated.

Should be as simple as plugging it in and going to

explorer and finding it. It either appears as 'Removable G: (drive letter)' or something that indicates the drive name..'Traveldrive'.

Flash Drives

When I click on "my computer" it already shows a removable drive "F" and a removable drive "G". Is this normal? I have never plugged a removable drive into my computer. Should I remove these drive listings from my machine before I plug in the new Flash Drive? If so, how do I do this?

I'd plug it in and see what happens.

There are some owners that must know what will happen in the future but this is not always possible.
