General discussion

flash card capacity

Sep 25, 2004 1:28PM PDT

hello, I am in the market for a digital camera and am looking at the canon A70. just curious, how many photos does a memory card of, for example, 128 mb hold? I'm not sure if the camera comes with one so i want to make an intelligent choice in buying the card. thanks - fj

since I don't own the camera yet-- it's 3.2 megapixel camera, so let's assume the highest setting for the moment. . .

Resolution: 3 Megapixels (2048 x 1536)

Between 80(1200kb+/picture) and 204 (200kb or less/picture?) pictures for a 128mb card. I've got a 256mbSD card and have gotten over 300 pictures with a picture size of 500 to 650kb.
