Rick
Greetings,
I have created an online private forum where a few of my friends can chat and interact. As part of the creation of this forum, I would to play some games with my friends -- particularly chess and or checkers. I would like to have the option of allowing my friends on the forum to have the games web based so that they would not have to download anything. This is why I am looking for a good flash based version of chess or checkers.
I would like to allow about 20 people to interact on and from the forum (with a minimum of 2 players per board -- as another player could watch). I would like to have the option of indicating when other players are online and allowing players to join a board.
The forum already allows members to view when others are online, but I need the flash version to indicate which player is on which board; this way members can choose who they play with.
The graphics do not have to be the best -- as long as pieces can be discerned. I would also, in the case of chess, like to have the option of "En Passant" and "Castling," but are not required.
This forum is a non-profit endeavor and is just a way for friends to hang out. If you know of any good web based versions of checkers or chess, please let me know through replying to this thread or send me a message.
Thank you for your help.
