flash

hi all
i am having trouble with flash,when i go to a site with flash i get a message saying i need to download flash,this is instaled, i have uninstaled it with the tool from the site and reinstaled it but the problem still exists, please be gentle as i am a newby,
windows xp, sp2,

i did every it said on adobe website got to install active x instaled it,it then said in the above box you will see a instalation compleet i did not get a box waited ten munites still nothing i am on broardband ,i tryed it twice still nouthing

still no flash tried downloading it uninstaling it just get a red x on adobe website, in the options the show pictures box is ticked, am i doing something wrong i have scaned for virus

sleepyjoe, Since you have Spyware Blaster installed do the following:

Open Spyware Blaster
Tools
Click on Flash killer
Untick the "Disable and block Macromedia Flash in Internet Explorer"

ticked it un ticked it, went on the adobe link and the reg lookes ok,is the active x a add on as i cant find it on IE add on list,or does it have a different name
