It will work with any Windows OS.
As far as the drivers - I will leave it up to you to do what you want but if the old drive cannot help retrieve the files, just use it to save the files that are needed when the link above is followed and then get the present drive fixed up and restore the files to the repaired or reinstall OS.
So I got a nasty little virus on my computer. I had an old hard drive, so I have installed windows on that and used it to clean my existing hard drive as there is a decent amount of stuff on there that I want to save. Anyway, I have cleaned out the virus ( I think) but the old drive has corrupted drivers for the mouse and keyboard so I can't log In to see if it is working. Is there anyway to install drivers to a secondary drive as it is set up as a storage drive and not c:? Should I attempt to repair windows on that drive and go that route? I do plan on doing a clean install eventually on the drive, but I want to make sure I back up all my drivers etc before doing so. Thanks for any help you offer. Cheers
