Fix "Wireless Internet Connection Not Connected"

by squeakyred / June 4, 2008 1:15 PM PDT

I used to be able to use my Dell Inspiron 1300 laptop for wireless Internet without any problems. A couple of weeks ago it stopped working and now every time I start up the computer I get a message that "Wireless Internet Connection Not Connected." The only way I can access the Internet now is through an ethernet cable.

I have tried disabling the wireless network, shutting down the computer, restarting the computer, then re-enabling the wireless network connection, but that isn't working. When I choose the option to connect to a network I no networks ever show up. I used to get 3 or 4 networks to show up (my neighbors networks). How can I get my wireless network connection to work again?

Note: I have a different laptop in my house and it still works wirelessly.

P2P over wifi is too unreliable. But its a great source of some income but usually ends badly as the customer's issue can never be truly resolved. If you must P2P, get wired.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
