Fix Eudora Mailboxs

The last update of Zone Alarm caused the below problem to my Eudora mailboxs. I have now removed the Zone Alarm firewall and installed the trial version of the Outpost firewall how do I go about fixing my Eudora mailboxs?

How do I go up fixing my in.toc, out.toc, in.mbx and out mbx????
I currently an In.toc, and Out.toc, In.mbx, out. mbx and a .001 and .002 for each of those as well (in.toc.001, in.mbx.001 etc).

What I wouldsuggest...

In reply to: Fix Eudora Mailboxs

would be to copy all to another location (while Eudora is CLOSED of course) then in the original location DELETE these:

Then RENAME these:
in.toc.001 to in.toc by deleting the .001
in.mbx.001 to in.mbx by deleting the .001

Then open Eudora and see if all is back to normal. If not you have lost nothing as you copied all to that other location and can restore at will.

Ask Qualcomm

In reply to: Fix Eudora Mailboxs

They may well have some sort of repair tool for mailboxes created by their program. Though I must say you fail to specify what the problem is exactly. All I see is a complaint about having an excess of backup copies of mailbox folders. Aside from a little wasted disk space, they're completely harmless.

Zone Alarm Pro (Last Update)

In reply to: Ask Qualcomm

The last update of Zone Alarm Pro caused this problem with Eudora and many other problems (visit the Zone Alarm Forum). Qualcomm or the Eudora forum havn't been much help with this matter.
