Question

fix crash computer & encrypted files

by bmmw7 / February 28, 2014 11:31 AM PST

My computer has been crashing like crazy. I'm lucky if I could see my desktop screen. Sometimes I could not use Safe Mode either. Antivirus program, spyware, malware, registry, defrag, etc. cannot fix it.

Yes, it needs system recovery, but I hesitate in doing it because:

1. it will take a long time to reinstall additional softwares.

2. I know I will lose all those free software I downloaded from Giveaway of the Day.

3. So far I already moved all personal files to an external hard drive. Somehow some files got encrypted (unintentional) and I cannot open them. I figure my computer setting will change after the recovery, I won't be able to open those files forever.

Questions:
is there any software I can use to recover the OS and all additional installed software MINUS the errors?

Thank you.

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
