I just wasted 40 minutes on the phone with Fitbit customer service. My original Fitbit Flex stopped working 4 months after I bought it at Costco. they sent me a replacement in Feb 2015. Now it stopped holding a charge. 16 months later. they refused to replace it and instead offered me 25% discount off any fitbit product. they are all grossly overpriced to begin with.
costco pricing makes them a bit more reasonable. their bracelets are cheap so I just bought three replacements which I now won't be able to use.
a one year limited warranty is ridiculous for a wearable tracker that costs over $100. I hope this company goes out of business and I would love to hear from users of competitor's products to see if there's a better tracker out there. with more durability.
