First Time Smartphone Buyer

by Soniteflash / November 27, 2014 8:10 AM PST

Hello community,

Blackfriday is almost there and my dad was wondering if I would like to buy a smartphone since he thinks that this is the time to get a solid one for a good price. I have never bought a smartphone and I have no idea what I should look out for. I currently have the Samsung Gravity TXT and I am sort of satisfied with it, just that it sucks in taking pictures, video and surfing (browser is very limited).
I am just scared to buy a phone and then regret getting it and therefore I am wondering if you guys could help me out.
My price limit would be 300$.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
