I would like to Thank You for answering because I rarely get any answers on here. I tried uninstalling WMP 10 and it said it can only rollback to a previous version and I said ok and it said Rollback failed. Is there another way uninstall it.

I thought I pressed reply to message not new discussion but anyway. i tried it again and it uninstalled and I installed it back and it still doesnt work.
Here is my original problem:
I have been having this problem for about a month and everybody said it was probably because of Windows Update MS06-015 and the patch came out today and I am still having problems. I first noticed the problem when I minimized it and it didnt go to toolbar mode. So I kept turning the WMP Toolbar on and off and then within the next week the problem evolved into not letting me change from "Now PLaying" to "Library" when I launched it from my Desktop. The only way I can get to my Library is to open a music or video file in WIndows explorer and then WMP comes up and then it lets me switch to library(with lag). And because of this MCE 2005 isn't working correctly(which is a whole different story) and I can't play any WMP files anymore in FireFox. I hope I didn't confuse you. Please Help.
Lots of problems. Is there something there that you can't live without and use WMP-9?
On wether MCE 2005 works with WMP 9 hopefully it does becasue since WMP 10 started messing up MCE is emssing up too. And I am going to buy a Samsung YP-Z5 soon and I wonder if it reguires WMP 10. Besides that no
And what is PITA?
Uninstall Media Player using this software :
http://www.litepc.com/xplite.html
Then download this one :
http://www.download.com/VLC-Media-Player/3000-2194_4-10497762.html?tag=lst-0-1
Once you have installed it , open
different formats of video files you have ,
choosing "open with..." from
right button menu , then "program" ,
then choose VLC & activate "always use
this program" .
This will be enough to change file association .

p.s. Excuse me if the terms

my language on my pc .
I'm glad that someone else answered your question...
I must admit that i do not know anything about your OS .
Anyway , i suggested to remove Media Player using XPLite & i think that is the best solution .
However you can also open INSTALL/UNISTALL PROGRAM window , then INSTALL WINDOWS COMPONENTS & uncheck Media Player box to disable it .
