Question

First gaming PC build

Apr 15, 2018 9:48AM PDT

Hi!

I plan to build my first PC and using it for gaming. I also have a Full HD 22" monitor and I will use it for a while before buying a bigger one.

So, I thought about this components: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/22RMcY

Whay do you think? What do you recommend to add/remove? A 500W power supply would be ok for it? What about the case?

Thank you!

Change that small ssd for a larger size.

Change that 5400 hdd to a 7200 unit.

Make sure it's a single rail design.

Get 7200 HDD

Believe me, you don't want the 5400 one. Also I'd get a bigger power supply with single rail design. Also, as someone said, get bigger SSD. It will fill up fast and you want your main games installed in that. Don't forget the OS takes some space too.

Also, I would go for full tower case. I have a mid-tower and it is a pain in the ***, especially with long video cards blocking the air.
